Langara College offers a two-year, full-time Post-Degree Diploma program in Supply Chain and Logistics. Our program provides an intensive understanding of global supply chains. Students will learn from professionals in the field about sourcing, procurement, coordination, strategic management, materials management, and the delivery of goods and services, among other topics.
Join us for an interactive panel with three of our students, and learn more about their experiences in Canada, at Langara College, and in the Supply Chain and Logistics industry in Vancouver.
Here are a few words from our Panelists (panelists’ names listed in alphabetical order):
Hi, this is Lenora. I am from China, and I have been in Canada for about 6 years. I started taking the LEAP program at Langara College, and graduated from the PDD in Supply Chain and Logistics program in 2018. I love this program because it opened a door for me to get into the logistics industry in Canada. I was hired right from the same company I was working for during my practicum term.
My name is Liza. I joined the Supply Chain program in January 2018 to expand my knowledge of Supply Chain umbrella components (as purchasing, logistics, inventory, distribution etc.), and learn the industry best practices. I have graduated in November 2019 and got a job in a well-known Canadian based company as Continuous Improvement specialist.
My Name is Marina Grossi. I've been living in Vancouver for almost two years. Although this is not my first time studying abroad (I have studied in Bologna and Strathmore), this time I came to Vancouver with my husband to hone my supply chain skills. As I have a background in Brazil of over 5 years in the Supply Chain field I decided to take the PDD in Supply Chain and Logistics program at Langara to help me excel in areas that I am already experienced, while having some work experience and better opportunities.
